Boat Rollers

Marine & boating industry. Rollers are attached to boat-trailers, they guide boats on and off the trailer during loading & launching. Boat rollers is a generic term that may refer to bow rollers, bow stops, keel rollers, guides, and more.

- wheel/guide along pipe and angle iron
- useful for guiding lift platforms
- large non-fouling sheaves for use with:

Note that the boat roller industry is not rigorously standardized between manufacturers. Each manufacturer may use the same names for different profiles. Notably, the v-shape, bow stop and spool shapes are sometimes used interchangeably between the various manufacturers and resellers.

- Common bow roller diameters: 3" - 5"
- Common shaft diameters: 3/8" 1/2" 5/8", 3/4", 7/8"
- Some heavy duty keel rollers are available in lengths of 18" or longer.

- Prefabricated roller brackets are available from many marine suppliers.
- Some rollers have nylon bushing lined shafts. It is recommended to add plastic bushings for those without if your application requires a low friction connection.
